Seating Information
The San Diego Convention Center at 111 W Harbor Drive is a large, versatile event space spanning three levels. Seating configurations vary significantly depending on the type of event.
- Ground Level – Exhibit Halls A-H: For concerts and large events, these halls are converted into general admission standing floors or banked seated arrangements. This is the primary event space for large-scale shows and conferences.
- Mezzanine Level: Meeting rooms and terraces ideal for smaller functions and breakout sessions. Mezzanine Terraces offer outdoor space with views.
- Upper Level – Sails Pavilion & Ballrooms: The Sails Pavilion is a stunning glass-enclosed space with panoramic bay views, perfect for receptions and medium-size concerts. Ballrooms 6 and 20 host banquet and theater-style events.

Parking Information
The San Diego Convention Center offers convenient on-site and nearby parking options for all events.
- Convention Center Underground Garage (ACE Parking): A 1,950-vehicle underground garage directly beneath the building, entered from Harbor Drive. Includes 31 ADA spaces with elevator access. Rates vary by event. No in-and-out privileges. Contact ACE Parking at 619-237-0399.
- Hilton Bayfront Parking Structure: A 2,000-space garage at Harbor Dr. and Park Ave., approximately 0.1 miles away. Estimated $15–$30/event.
- Downtown Off-Site Lots: Numerous parking lots and garages within walking distance in downtown San Diego. Use SpotHero to reserve in advance.
- San Diego Trolley (Blue Line): Stops directly at the Convention Center station — an excellent no-hassle option.
- Rideshare: Uber and Lyft drop-off is available along Harbor Drive at the main entrance.
